Does Anyone Know Where to Download Sound Recordings to Help Me Tune My Electric Guitar?

What’s this week’s electric guitar question? Let’s dive straight in…

Question: Nobody suggest an auto tuner! They always break my strings!
Answer: Fender.com has a link on their site where you can tune your guitar as you are looking at the computer monitor. It shows you the string, and plays the string sound so you know what your string tune should be!

Try a tuning fork. I used to use one all the time, until I finally got an electric one. Mine was high E.

I don’t think that that’s going to solve your problem. The reason is because if you perform live how can you tune your guitar like that by use sound recordings? I think your guitar’s back bridge or front bridge maybe the problem. I would suggest that you bring it to a music store and have them look it and see what’s causing your strings to break. If you don’t know how to use a tuner ask them to show you. You may not be using it properly.
