That is my estimate. However, if you take guitar lessons from a Community or State College in your area, then the rate is about the cost for 1 credit hour per semester (13 or 16 weeks). I only had to pay about $100 to $120 for the semester I took guitar lessons. The rate includes a small lab fee, though. Some bigger guitar retailers may give you free guitar lessons if you buy or lease a guitar from them. Look on their website or check out the nearest guitar retailer to you. Check out this retailer that gives away free lessons for life if you buy or lease their guitars in Fort Walton Beach, FL (NW Florida area). Hope this helps.
