Where Can I Get Free Bass Guitar Lessons in Hampshire?

They are online "communities" and have a lot of good stuff in them such as lessons, techniques and exercises. I wouldn’t suggest just going of these though. Talk to your buddies or other musicians. Pick up a book (preferably one with a DVD). I used some of these sights and found out I was doing some things that were horrible in terms of technique. I’ve been playing for a while now and I got started with online lessons and essays. Good luck!

you can get a lot of free stuff off the net how depending on how advanced you are go on to basstabs.com or tabsolutey or bass tabs @911.com they have exercises to get your fingers working and hitting the right notes and some basic bass lines I also advise you to get guitar pro 4 and 5 to load into your pc its got thousands of tunes from thousands of bands and you play along to them as it shows you in real time what notes your supposed to be playing
If you want free lessons they will probably have to be online. There are loads of sites, just Google for them.
One word of advice, tab is OK for beginners, but if you’re serious about your music, then try to learn to play from sheet music. Bass parts are written in the bass clef (the left hand piano part), so learn the notes and where they are on your bass. But also learn the notes in the treble clef, so you can read the melody and play that too.
