Well I know its been said before, but I might as well confirm…it was the Blues Legend Jeff Healey who played Cody in Road House.

Bizarrely though, the official soundtrack (http://tinyurl.com/jxxvp) only features 4 songs performed by Jeff Healey:

    Roadhouse Blues
    I’m Tore Down
When The Night Comes Falling From The Sky
    Hoochie Coochie Man

Unfortunately the rest of the soundtrack was filled with unknowns and really bad soft-rock ballads by Patrick Swayze who was trying desperately to get a music career going.

Did you know that Jeff Healey wasn’t born blind? He went blind when he was only one year old.

Amazingly though he started playing the guitar at the age of 3! Now *thats* a gift!
