Is the Bass Guitar Easier to Learn Than Piano?

I just love answering these learn guitar questions. Here’s another:

Question: I Know how to play the piano, I just want to learn the bass guitar. I really wanna know if the piano is easier or harder. My favorite songs have awesome bass pieces, so I really wanna know, so help me out please! :D
Answer: I’ve played piano for 5 years
I played bass for about 2, I don’t anymore but it was WAYYY easier
especially if you already know the basics of music, and if you already play an instrument (especially piano)

    yeah its defiantly a lot easier. especially playing with tabs and not sheet music.
