Websites On Learning How To Play The Electric Guitar?

I just love answering these learn guitar questions. Here’s another:

Question: I cant find guitar lessons anywhere, so i plan on teaching myself. I could really use some helpful links for stuff like chords and learning how to read tabs and whatnot. Thanks! :D D
The point of this question was for people to give me websites on how to play the guitar. I cant find lessons anywhere, and believe me, i searched and searched and searched.
Answer: PluckandPlayGuitar has free video based lessons for absolute beginners and assume you know nothing or close to nothing.

It takes you step by step through the basic guitar chords one by one. There’s also lessons on guitar scales, techniques and some easy songs to play.

    first of all, where do you live that you can’t find guitar lessons?

    but anyway, i taught myself how to play guitar, and have been playing for about 7 years. A few things that really helped me, were buying a few books, like chord books, and scale books. and watching hundreds of youtube tutorials.

    but i really suggest lessons, because after a few years, i got serious about playing, and it is really difficult to reteach yourself everything you learned, the right way. Start with fundamentals like scales and chords. Understand the relationship between the two. This will become your base for everything else, and the stronger your base is, the better a player you can become.
