What Guitar Chords Should a Rock Guitarists Learn and How Do You Link Them?

This week’s question is as follows:

Question: note i am a begginer guitarist
Answer: You’ll definitely want to learn all the major and minor chords (chords such as G, A, B, C, D, Em, Am, C#m, Bm, F#m, etc.). Chords such as Amaj7 can come in handy as well, as can chords like E7#9.

Some basic chords are A, C, D, G, and E. You can play just about any rock song with those bad boys.

You should try the basic power chord. It’s very easy and you can do so much with them. To link them you could use slides or you could hit an open note in between each of them. They are simple and sound good just go look them up on google or youtube and you should find an instructional video somewhere. Good luck and stick with it you won’t regret it.
