Which Instrument is Easier to Learn: Piano, Guitar, or Drums? How Easy?

What’s this week’s learn guitar question? Let’s dive straight in…

Question: So which instrument is easier to learn? Also, how long does it take to get semi good? By drums I mean the full set. Also, is electric guitar easier or harder than acoustic?
Answer: It really depends on the person. But I’d say that a vast majority of people would say that guitar is the easiest of those three. From my experience, acoustic is easier to learn on, and if you know acoustic then it’s really easy to pick up electric.
How long it takes to be good all depends on how committed you are to learning it. If you work really hard at it and spend a lot of time working on the techniques, I’d say you could probably get pretty good in a year or maybe less. But I think it would take the average person over a year to get semi good.
And that applies for all three of those instruments.

I play piano, and it took me over a year to get good enough at it that I was ready to perform or anything. I’m decent at guitar, but not great because I haven’t spent much time with it.

I’ve always thought piano was quite hard because you have to use both hands for something different.
    But thats just me.
I’m only 12 and I’m teaching myself guitar, is really quite easy.
And drums is sort of, in the middle I guess, my sister used to play drums but she just can’t be bothered any more :P
I *think* electric is easier, I cant remember why it just heard it is.. :P
